West Texas Stick Seminar 2001

On March 2-4, 2001 8 Stick players from around Texas met in Abilene for a 2 day seminar taught by internationally known Stick artist Greg Howard. The weekend began with a Friday night concert by Greg at Mezamiz Coffee. Classes were conducted at Abilene's Center For Contemporary Arts Saturday and Sunday from 10am-5pm with a break for lunch. The closing event Sunday night at local cigar-bar The Leaf featured 4 student soloists, a 45 minute set by Greg, and 2 Stick quartets.
